RESCUERESCUE
Simple directional (1:1) Haul system (3:1)
Here are some test results using a constant rate of 1.5 m/minute. Other results are available in the technical information at www.petzl.com
Lowering with two MAESTROs in parallel, controlled by a single operator One operator simultaneously controls the two devices to optimize load-sharing between the two ropes, while limiting the potential fall distance in case one rope fails.
Addition of a back-up system to address potential operator error.
Adjusting position of the litter attendant with JAG SYSTEM The JAG SYSTEM allows the attendant to efficiently adjust their position, even with all of their weight on the lanyard and without good support for the feet.
Evacuation on a tensioned highline with REEVE The REEVE combines two pulleys with a rigging plate for clean and compact rigging of your highline rescue system.
Technical Rescue
Different braking positions
Improve descent control by adjusting the friction.
Extra friction makes for a more comfortable descent: the sheave does not rotate, and the facets provide additional friction on the rope.
Rope redirect with SPIN L1D pulley Rope redirect when raising: sheave rotates in the direction of the ascent.
Using the MAESTRO The MAESTRO enables controlled lowering of loads up to 250 kg (MAESTRO S) and 280 kg (MAESTRO L).
Hauling with MAESTRO or PRO TRAXION The mechanical advantage of a haul system is a theoretical advantage, but efficiency is affected by several factors in practice, including pulley efficiency, rope diameter, rate of hauling, and regularity of movement.
