In a rope access system, the worker
moves along a work rope. The ASAP
LOCK or ASAP mobile fall arrester is
installed on a backup rope. Its role is to
arrest the fall in case the primary rope fails.

In the event of a fall, slip, or uncontrolled
descent, the blocking system activates
and stops the fall.
In a fall-arrest system, the worker moves
about on the structure. The ASAP or
ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester is installed
on a lifeline.
The mobile fall arresters follow the worker
in their movements along the rope at
a normal speed, without the need for
manual operation.

Installed on the primary or secondary rope, the ASAP and ASAP LOCK mobile fall
arresters connect to the harness fall-arrest attachment point. They follow the user
in their movements, and in the event of a slip, sudden acceleration, or uncontrolled
descent, the devices lock and stop the fall.

With its unique locking system, the ASAP sets the standard in fall protection for workers at height.
In normal use, the device moves freely along the rope without any manual intervention and follows
the user in all their movements. In the event of a shock load or sudden acceleration, the ASAP locks
on the rope and stops the user. Depending on the intended use, the ASAP may also be combined with
an ASAP’SORBER or ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorber to work at a distance from the rope.

The ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester is designed to facilitate handling during rope ascents. In normal
use, the device moves freely along the rope without any manual intervention and follows the user in
all their movements. In the event of a shock load or sudden acceleration, the fall arrester locks on
the rope and stops the user. The integrated locking function allows the user to immobilize the device
in order to reduce the potential fall distance. The connection arm makes the system drop resistant
when passing intermediate anchors. The ASAP LOCK is used with an ASAP’SORBER or
ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorber to work at a distance from the rope.
