Visual locking indicator
To facilitate equipment checks, SCREW-LOCK manual locking
carabiners have a red band that is visible only when the carabiner
is not locked.
Keylock System: helps prevent snagging
To provide optimal efficiency, all Petzl carabiners use the Keylock
system: the nose of the carabiner, where the body and gate meet,
does not have a notch that could snag on anchors, ropes,
harness equipment loops, or other gear.
