Installing the rope

The device has a safety gate on the

moving side plate that allows the rope

to be easily installed while the device

remains connected to the harness.

The stainless steel wear plate

improves durability by reinforcing

the rope friction zone.

AUTO-LOCK system

The AUTO-LOCK system allows users to

easily position themselves at a workstation

without having to manipulate the handle

or tie off the device: as soon as the

user releases the handle, the rope is

automatically locked in the device.

The ergonomic handle allows the user

to unblock the rope and comfortably

control the descent. Two descent modes

are possible: on the side plate or in the

V-shaped friction channel.

The RIG descender is compact and lightweight,

and designed for experienced rope access

workers.

The self-braking I’D S descender is primarily designed for work at height and rope access work. It has an

ergonomic handle that allows comfortable descent control. The integrated anti-panic function and anti-error

catch reduce the risk of an accident due to user error. The AUTO-LOCK system allows users to easily position

themselves at the workstation without having to manipulate the handle or tie off the device. Once locked,

the rope can be taken up without having to manipulate the handle. The safety gate allows the rope to be

installed with the device remaining connected to the harness. I’D S is compatible with 10 to 11.5 mm ropes.

The I’D L self-braking descender is primarily designed for rescue. It has an ergonomic handle that allows

comfortable descent control. The integrated anti-panic function and anti-error catch reduce the risk of an

accident due to user error. The AUTO-LOCK system allows users to position themselves without having

to manipulate the handle or tie off the device. Once locked, the rope can be taken up without having to

manipulate the handle. The safety gate allows the rope to be installed with the device remaining connected

to the harness. I’D L is compatible with 12.5 to 13 mm ropes.

The I’D EVAC self-braking descender is primarily designed for lowering from an anchor. The ergonomic handle is

specifically oriented for managing a load from the anchor and offers comfortable descent control. The integrated

anti-panic function and anti-error catch reduce the risk of an accident due to user error. The AUTO-LOCK system

allows the rope to be automatically locked without having to manipulate the handle or tie off the device. Once

locked, the rope can be taken up without having to manipulate the handle. The safety gate allows the rope to be

installed with the device remaining connected to the anchor. I’D EVAC is compatible with 10 to 11.5 mm ropes.

The closed auxiliary brake is designed for I’D self-braking descenders. It is used to add friction depending
