It’s a real joy to have been involved

in this project; an adventure in nature

full of excitement and with the goal

of sharing experiences together!

A big thank you to the Petzl Foundation

for their support, which brought a lot

of value to the project.

7. MOUNTAIN EXPLORATION

The Fondation Le Refuge hosts and

supports young LGBT+ people aged 14 to

25, who have been victims of homophobia

or transphobia and diff icult family lives.

The Isère branch offered a recreational

experience in the mountains to a group

of nine young people from different

backgrounds, regions, and countries. In

June 2023, during a weekend in the high

mountains of Écrins in France, they climbed,

hiked, and spent a night in a mountain

hut at an altitude of 2,225 meters. Since

this event, half of the participants have

continued to climb in the gym!
