First aid training in Malaysia:
In partnership with international organization,
The Red Crescent, we provided f irst-aid
training for employees at our Malaysia site.
In 2024, it will be made available to all
employees on a volunteer basis.
Employee education on climate issues
via Climate Fresk workshops: After
multiple sessions for managers in France
and the US in 2023 (86 employees and
63 managers), Petzl continues to hold
Climate Fresk workshops, with new
sessions globally, as well as training
for interested employees to become
workshop hosts.

earnings redistributed to employees globally.
2023 KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Employee commuting: Around one third
of our employees in France, or 267 people,
use alternative modes of transportation for
their commute. 178 people have benef ited
from the sustainable transportation
package, Forfait de Mobilité Durable (FMD),
which enables the company to cover
a portion of expenses that employees
incur to take more sustainable modes
of transportation. Additionally, there
are 76 employees who take advantage
of another French government program
that came before FMD, where Petzl covers
70% of the cost of an employee’s public
transportation pass.
Employee satisfaction: As part of
the prevention and improvement plan
for employee satisfaction, the Human
Resources team has continued to offer
courses to help meet needs indicated
by employees in the survey.

three personal development sessions,
“Operate in a Changing Environment”,
lasting a total of 4 days
• 33 managers attended training
on “Human Change Management”
