These four commitments are broken
down into a series of objectives and
indicators, and the task of monitoring
progress is divided among the teams.
Their timelines vary from medium
to long-term, providing continuity
and a clear vision of our objectives.
We strive to use every available asset to
progress sustainable development at Petzl.
Some of those assets are rooted in the
stability and values we’ve inherited from
being a family-owned business; others
have been built as best practices as our
industry evolves. Collaborating with other
outdoor companies to collectively reduce
our environmental impact is the perfect
example. We’re harnessing these factors
to help drive the transition towards a more
sustainable economic model, and more
than ever, to enable safer progression for
all our stakeholders in a world threatened
by climate change and social inequality.
This year’s Impact Report highlights our
2023 key accomplishments. It’s focused
on the fundamental work that has been
done to reduce our CO
2
emissions
and mobilize many of our teams.
