BEFORE THE EVENT: - Rescue training with help from the Petzl Foundation - Provided funding to develop sustainable lodging - Waste management planning to meet growing need at different climbing areas
MANIKIA / May 12 - 15, 2022: - Limited long-distance travel and proposed solutions for non- polluting transportation - Limited number of participants to respect the event location s physical capacity
AFTER THE EVENT: - Project was a success; increased number of climbers visiting Manikia following the event - Work done in collaboration with the local organization has proven to be sustainable

Summary of Our Objectives and Actions
Recruitment: 153 new permanent employees globally; 85 in France, including 67 new roles.
Creating shared value: 8% of net earnings redistributed to employees globally.
Co-creation and transparency: Participated in the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat (CEC), a gathering of 150 business leaders, and co-created our environmental road map.
2022 KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Eco-design: Implemented the pilot project for NEOX®, a new eco-designed belay device.
Education: 80 managers were trained at the Climate Fresk workshop.
Reuse and recycling: Exceeded goal in France with 82% waste recovered, of which 71% was recycled and 11% was reused.
