In 2026 , the Petzl Foundation is launching
the f irst edition of its project call designed
to enable everyone to benef it from the
emotional and physical benef its of the
mountains . We want to support asso -
ciations that place the mountains at the
heart of their activities in order to foster
self - conf idence , renewed pride , sharing
and contact with nature . We are convinced
that the mountains can be a refuge — a
place where people can rebuild themsel -
ves , gain independence and get moving
again . Projects should aim to encourage
access to the mountains for people in
vulnerable situations Applications are
open until 3 May 2026
