Impact Report
The podcast Vent Debout meets athletes who are
trying to reconnect sport with the social and ecologi -
cal realities of our time . The f irst episode of season 2 ,
supported by the Petzl Foundation , explores mountain
practitioners ’ relationship with death . This diff icult and
often taboo subject is handled with depth and sensiti -
vity by Clothilde Sauvages and Sylvain Paley . By brin -
ging a ski mountaineer into conversation with a socio -
logy PhD candidate , the episode invites us to ref lect
on what drives our risk - taking and our relationship with
mountain practice . This season will also feature lighter
topics such as “ The dead end of faster , higher , stron -
ger ” and “ Nature sports and respect for biodiversity ” .

Twenty young people in care through child
welfare services in the Bouches - du - Rhône
department ( Marseille ) took part in 15 days of
climbing , via corda and sailing in the Calanques
thanks to the association Le voyage d ’ Ulysse et
de l ’ enfance . These respite stays allow children
to step away from what is often a diff icult daily
reality and open up new horizons . New climbing -
and - sailing camps are planned for 2026 , with a
trip to Corsica in sight .

The Grenoble - based association Point d ’ eau organises
group mountain activities throughout the year to help
people facing hardship regain conf idence in themsel -
ves and in others while gradually learning how to enjoy
the mountains independently In June 2025 a week in
the high mountains organised with the association 82
4000 Solidaires brought together seven participants
for hikes a via ferrata glacier walking and two nights
in a mountain hut Comparable to several months of
social support this collective experience encourages
exchange mutual support and perspective breaking
isolation and opening up new possibilities
